Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas heat the body using infrared lamps that focus warmth and infrared rays at the body directly.  This allows for the benefits of a sauna at lower temperatures than need to be achieved with a steam sauna.

Sitting in an infrared sauna mimics the results of exercise in the body. Blood vessels dilate for increased blood flow. Heart rate picks up and blood pressure reduces. This increased blood flow can help speed up muscle recovery, helps with skin health, improves sleep, helps alleviate anxiety and depressive symptoms, and can help with chronic pain as well.  Like the steam sauna, the infrared sauna also helps boost the immune system, helps reduce the early signs of cardiovascular disease, assists the body in counteracting dementia and Alzheimers disease, and helps fight oxidative stress and possibly even cancer.
