Once you start dry brushing, you will immediately feel the benefits. Dry brushing is an Ayurvedic practice with many health benefits including increased circulation, improved detoxification of toxins and pathogens through lymphatic drainage and exfoliation of dead skin.
The best way to practice dry brushing is to use a stiff bristled body brush on dry skin before showering. Starting at the ankles, using a light but steady pressure, brush in small upward circles towards the heart. Always starting at the extremities and working your way back up towards the heart. You will notice how invigorated and grounded this practice makes you feel.
